About

Always Sunny Lacrosse, Inc. (“Sunny Lacrosse”) is an elite level lacrosse program formed for Central Florida lacrosse players by Central Florida High School Coaches in 2017. Our focus is to develop exceptional lacrosse IQ, physical fitness, and on-the-field skills in our players.

  • The Always Sunny Programs are an elite recruitment and developmental travel team for Central Florida area high school and youth players. Always Sunny Lacrosse players must have a strong desire to advance their lacrosse game to a highly competitive level. Our mission is to give these highly motivated players the coaching and guidance to develop and improve their game so they can get to the next level.

The Always Sunny Lacrosse name was an idea of Coach Kyle Hofstaedter. A native of Philadelphia and a fan of the tv show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; he thought it was only fitting for the club to combine his Philadelphia roots and the location of the club: The Sunshine State.

What's The Difference?

LOCAL REC TEAMS (School/Town):

Most towns have their own youth rec team. That youth rec team usually helps feed into a certain High School. For example:

Brantley Bulldogs Youth usually feeds into Lake Brantley High School

Swarm Youth usually feeds into Bishop Moore Catholic

Winter Park Lacrosse Club usually feed into Winter Park High School

Sometimes these youth rec teams help feed into multiple high schools. For example:

West Orange Outlaws feeds into Windermere HS, West Orange HS, Olympia HS

C4E Arrowheads feeds into Hagerty HS, Oviedo HS and Winter Springs HS.

Most high schools also have their own club team that consists of players and coaches from the same school. These local club teams will practice and condition in the fall/winter season to prepare for the spring high school season. This is the school-based club-team similar to O-Town Tropics, WP Retrievers, Brantley Bulldogs, Oviedo Pride, West Orange Whalers, Old School LC, Swarm, etc.

ALWAYS SUNNY (Regional-based, Central Florida):

A Central Florida travel club team that consists of players and coaches throughout the Greater Central Florida area. Always Sunny club teams will run from May through July. Programming will pick back up from September through January. Our club teams will attend Southern Region events as well as National Recruiting events for the older teams. Players will have the opportunity to work with top coaches and players throughout the state to develop their skills.

NATIONAL LACROSSE PROGRAMS (State and National Teams):

A state team for Florida's top lacrosse players. These teams will give access to national exposure at the most prestigious recruiting events while playing with teammates from across the state of Florida. Players will also have access to the program's national team as they pursue their collegiate goals.
